🧑‍💼 GiftedThinkers Basic Agreement

✏️ Services Provided:

✅ The Tutor will provide tutoring sessions for the subject(s) the Client chooses (e.g., Maths, Science, or any other subject). ✅ Each session will generally last 1 hour. ✅ Sessions will be conducted online via Microsoft Teams.

💷 Payment Terms:

➡️ We use a rolling 12-month subscription because:

✅ Easy Payments: It simplifies billing for everyone, no complicated short-term invoices. ✅ Missed Lessons: We can easily rearrange any missed lessons. ✅ Best Pricing: We factor in school holidays and spread costs evenly over the year, so you get a fair monthly rate. ✅ Cancel: If you ever want to cancel, just let us know 30 days in advance.

✅ Our most popular plan – the (GT Standard Subscription) includes around 42 lessons per year and follows the typical school holiday calendar, except for summer holidays which is shorter. Most families find this works best, providing a consistent rhythm while allowing for rest during school breaks. ✅ If you've had to cancel any lessons during the year, the holiday periods can also be a great time to catch up and use those sessions.

✅ We do offer a subscription plan with lessons throughout the holidays, though it does mean you'll have to take a suitable device with you when travelling. ✅ Payments are made simple with our payment provider GoCardless via direct debit.

🫣 Cancellation of Individual Sessions

➡️ If the Client must cancel a particular lesson, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Then we can rearrange this lesson for another date. ➡️ If the Client cancels late or does not attend, the full fee for that lesson may still be charged.

🔐 Confidentiality:

➡️ The Tutor agrees to keep personal information (such as names, contact details, or academic records) private, except when required by law or when agreed to by the Client.

🗄️ Data Protection & GDPR:

➡️ We respect your privacy and follow data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). ➡️ We only collect the personal information we need to provide our tutoring services. Your data is kept secure and is never shared with anyone else unless required by law or needed to deliver our services (for example, using an online lesson platform).

➡️ You can ask us at any time for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. If you have any questions or concerns about how we use your information, please let us know. 🙂
